What I have sometimes done is reserve a helper cell in each sheet that matches the sheet name (assuming they exactly match "person assigned").
Then with all "person ..." sheets grouped enter this formula in say A1. With sheets grouped this will drill down returning each sheet's name in its respective A1.
You will likely want to copy and paste values back onto A1 (still grouped) as the CELL function is volatile.
If you aren't familiar with grouping sheets just click on the first sheet and while holding down the shift key click on the last sheet.
