Drop down menu Data Validation help

Hi, I am trying to figure out a way to display one of 5 columns and rows depending on my selection in the drop down menu

Example

I have a column A named Bet type. In each cell under that column is a drop down menu which you can select Side, Total, ML, 1st Half, and 2nd Half

In Column B named Side W/L and under that column is a formula that determines whether the side won or lost displaying a W or L and it does for the columns below as well
In Column C named Total W/L
In Column D named ML W/L
In Column E named 1st Half
In Column F named 2nd Half W/L


Is it possible to select say Total in row 3 of Column A and only row 3 of Column C is displayed rather than all the other columns? And a way to do this for every row to Column A with the corresponding name Column and row being displayed only?

In row 3 of Column A I select Side and either Column B row 3 is displayed or another column like G displays the result, then in row 4 of Column A I select say 2nd Half and either Column B row 4 displays the result or Column G row 4 displays that result etc.?

Maybe better explanation with upload you excel, how the way? Click on "Go Amdvanced" button next to "Post Quick Reply" button, and find Paperclip Image button to attach the file

You just need an IF statement to make this happen.

In cell B2 and copied down would be:

Copy that to cell C2, change "Side" to be "Total" and then copy down.
Copy that to cell D2, change "Side" to be "ML" and then copy down.
Copy that to cell E2, change "Side" to be "1st Half" and then copy down.
Copy that to cell F2, change "Side" to be "2nd Half" and then copy down.
