    #ref errors when i delete a row

    Hello,

If anyone can help me solve this problem I'm having, I would be in their debt forever.. Hahaha...

So I wrote a schedule program for my Managers to use. In this program it calculates the hours and dollars at the top of the schedule. However, if I delete a row, I get a #REF error. Can anyone help me re-write the formula for the calculated hours so I don't get this error message when I delete a row? Is this possible? Again, if anyone can figure this out, they'll be a hero.

    I've attached the file.

    Thank You for your time.

    Jason

What rows do you delete? Is it the entire row or just a portion of the row?

I think I know what is happening.

When you delete an entire row on the Calculator4 sheet, that creates a #Ref error because you are also deleting a cell that other cells rely on for their info (Columns A-R).

You would probably be better to move the data from columns A-AB into another sheet or the Hours & Pay part to another sheet and that way you should be able to avoid this issue, if that is not an option then try hiding a row rather than deleting it.
