    Angry Formula problem

For the life of me, I cannot wrap my head around this one. I am trying to lock down the formula for the following situation:

I have a cell for Gross Profit (F2). I type the amount in manually. I have another cell for F&I Profit (H2). I also type this manually. I need a formula for cell (I2), which is the commission earned on (H2). Here is where it gets interesting:

-If (F2) is a negative number, the max that I will earn on (I2) is $25 regardless of the amount in (H2)
-If (F2) is a positive number between 0-500, the minimum I will earn on (I2) is also $25
-If (F2) is a positive number between 500-10000, my earnings will be (I2*5%), but $100 is the MAXIMUM that I can earn.

Your post does not comply with Rule 1 of our Forum RULES. Your post title should accurately and concisely describe your problem, not your anticipated solution.

Use terms appropriate to a Google search. Poor thread titles, like Please Help, Urgent, Need Help, Formula Problem, Code Problem, and Need Advice will need to be changed.

To change a Title go to your first post, click EDIT then Go Advanced and change your title, if 2 days have passed ask a moderator to do it for you.

(This thread should receive no further responses until this moderation request is fulfilled, as per Forum Rule 7)

    Re: Formula problem

dmess18, your correction is no better than the first. Did you bother to read my original post and the forum rules before making a change.Think of a google search and create your title accordingly.
