dividing by the remaining days in the month

I am trying to create a formula that will divide the contents of a given cell by the remaining days in a given period of time. I need it to start from a specific day and end on a specific day (10/03/2016 - 10/27/2016) while not tracking weekends. I am trying to create a daily sales goal of cases from a monthly case goal that updates as you input a given days sales. I have tried to use networkdays.intl but I am very new to using formulas in excel and I can not get rid of an error message when i try to divide using the formula. I have attached the file that I am trying to create this on. I was able to create a formula that subtracts daily sales from a monthly and quarterly goal but am now stuck on how to break this down to daily sales goal. Thank you for you help!

Thanks for the quick reply! That is the same way that i entered it in as well. However, when it is entered into L3 it gives an answer of 22 april rather than a daily case volume.
