match formula shows N/A for some items , needs assistance

Hi All

I have a workbook with 2 sheets , invoice and packing list .
I am trying to match the position of ref product of invoice sheet with packing list sheet, but showing n/a .

I checked the formating , trim the data but unsuccesful ??
Some reference data position appears but but other show n/a

Can someone have a look

On the packing list tab, I put =ISTEXT(A2) into column D and copied it down. All values came up TRUE, indicating that all of those invoice numbers in the data base are numbers stored as text. I put =ISTEXT(A2) in column D of the invoice tab, and got a mix of TRUE and FALSE, indicating that some of the invoice numbers are stored as text and some are stored as numbers. Excel see the text string "12345" as something different from the number 12345, and so it won't match up those two values.

You need to choose whether you want your invoice numbers to be real numbers or numbers stored as text. Once you decide which direction to go, you need to take the appropriate steps to coerce all invoice numbers to either be numbers or text.
