#Value Error

    #Value Error

    Hi Guys,

    I cant get my head around this error. As per the attachment AH24 does contain a formula which is working correctly and thus leaving the cell blank. Cell AH25 contains the following formula 'AH22-AH24' but instead of getting the solution i am receiving a #Value error. I'm guess as cell AH24 is not technically blank as it has a formula/text is the reason as why i am receiving this error.

    Can anyone assist please.

    To get rid of the error message if one of the cells is 'blank':

    =IFERROR(AH22-AH24,"")

    =if(AH24="","",AH22-AH24)

    On reflection, I wonder if the OP wants the gross figure to appear in AH25 if AH24 is empty? I think you are probably right, Ford.
