Question Needing to cross reference two data sets

Hi everyone. I'm new here and am looking forward to reading all of the great tips and solutions.

I currently work in SEO, and I am trying to work on implementing some URL redirects for a new site. There are quite a lot of them. Here is my current situation:

I have one spreadsheet that has the old URLs with their corresponding Page Titles. The URLs don't include any descriptive text, just numbers. The Page Titles, however, are unique for each URL.

I have another spreadsheet with the new URLs, which include descriptive text that pretty much lines up with the Page Titles in the previous spreadsheet. However, since these are URLs, the words are separated by dashes after the root domains.

Is there a way for me to reference the new URLs in the second spreadsheet and pull the URL into a column next to the Page Title if it matches in any way with the Page Title? I'll give an example.

Page Title: Photo of Generic Photo Name

    URL: https://genericwebsitename.com/photos/generic-photo-name

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The link does not work. It sounds like you'll want to use VLOOKUP. The scary word is matches "in any way." VLOOKUP will be looking for the wording to be exact.

Please use the Go Advanced Button and then Manage Attachments to attach the workbook to a post so we can see the issue better. Thanks.
One spreadsheet to rule them all. One spreadsheet to find them. One spreadsheet to bring them all and at corporate, bind them.

A picture is worth a thousand words, but a sample spreadsheet is more likely to be worked on.
