    Having trouble with getting COUNTIF to work.

    What I would like to do is find out how many "Yes" match "David". I have used [=COUNTIF(F11:F125,"=David")] and I get the correct count in column "F". Now I want to know how many times "David" got a "Yes" in column "E". I tried this but I come up with "0". Please help... [=COUNTIF(E11:F125,"=David,Yes")]. I appreciate it. Thank you

    you need countifs for that. =COUNTIFS(e11:e125,"yes",f11:f125,"David") and you don't need the = sign
