Football Prediction Formula Question

Greetings and Happy Thanksgiving to All! Newbie here with a question regarding formulas. Here is what I am up against; I have one sheet labeled Main where all of my weeks of football data and averages are.
On another sheet labeled Analyzer, I have a cell labeled Visiting Team and Home Team with the cells directly below them populated with all 32 teams in drop down menu format. What I am trying to do is this: When I select a certain Home team and visiting team, I need a formula to pull certain data from the Main sheet, and populate certain cells in the Analyzer sheet so as I can make a game points prediction outcome for each team. I'm told this is possible, but just can't put the formula together to make this happen.

Well, here's what I am trying to accomplish with this; I have two separate pull down menu's, each containing the 32 NFL football teams. When I select, let's say, Arizona, I need it to pull this type of data from my main sheet where the figures are stored;

Rush Yards Attempted ***
Actual Rushing Yards ***
Rush Yards per Attempt ***

Same thing would hold true with passing yard figures as well. I have the math figures already figured In when that data gets pulled over. I just can't figure out what formula to use to get the data pulled over to the appropriate prediction boxes...

Welcome to Excel Forum.
The formula(s) that would need to be written would be dependent on the layout of the 'Main' sheet. As dluhut said the best thing would be to upload a sample of your workbook by clicking on GO ADVANCED and then scrolling down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window. If the workbook is very large, which is quiet possible considering all of the stats that are collected on the 32 NFL teams, then reduce the size of the copy of the main page to a few stats for a couple of teams, that should provide enough information from which to write a formula.

Here are the screen shots of the sheets I am trying to work with. Trying to get certain team cell data into the Analyzer sheet
so it can perform it's predictions. Hopefully the sheets got attached for viewing as I have never done this before. Also, my
previous post describes what I am trying to accomplish in further detail if there are any questions. And thanks again everyone

Thought I had the answer to this the other day, but I still stand corrected and confused. I'm still of the opinion that there has to be a way that when you select any
given team in the home and visitor drop down menu, that it will pull over the needed data in the appropriate cells shown to make a given raw score analysis. Help!
as this newbie has backed himself into a corner with this on-going problem...

Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.
