Need to calculate % of building to divide property taxes
I'm looking for a formula to calculate the % each renter owes in property taxes according to the amount of space they rent in the building.
If there is an easier way to do this then the spreadsheet I set up, please feel free to share.

R1 taxes in cell G1 will be:
=(A1/$F1)*$E1
Drag copy this across as far as J1.

Is $9,500.00 formatted as currency or have you typed the $ into the cell? Are any of the numbers actually text?
