    getting external data

Hi. I want to link to a website ..... https://apps.virginmoney.com/fundpri...wFundPrices.do and read data from it into a sheet in my workbook. It is a 2-D table.

I think I need to use data/connections, but which of the options do I use?

I'd be happy to link the web into a new sheet in the workbook.

Can someone point out the route please & save me hours of experiment ?

    Many thanks as always.

    I have excel 2007 KK

You can use Web Query. See link for details.

I prefer using VBA for web scraping. Below code will output table values to Sheet1 (Change it as needed).

Then follow instruction in first link.

Or simply go to "Get External Data" -> "From Web"

Copy and paste in address. Hit "Yes"/"OK" until you see the page. Select the table and import.

You are welcome. And yes. When you bring it in you can set properties to refresh every x minutes. Or when opening the file etc.
You can also edit it in connection properties.
