Hello, So I cant seem to get a hyper link to work and i need some assistance.
Here is the file location: W:\Survey\Sawyer\Multi Page Pdf
The file name is: 43703010000.pdf
I have been able to get excel to recognize this hyperlink format, =HYPERLINK("W:\Survey\Sawyer\Multi Page Pdf "&A12&".pdf")
but I get a message saying it "cant open specified file".
and cell A12 contains 4370301000
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Two possible issues I can see:
(1) You need a backslash added to the path (and remove the space before the "):
=HYPERLINK("W:\Survey\Sawyer\Multi Page Pdf\"&A12&".pdf")
(2) Check the number of final zeros in A12 - you say the file name is '43703010000.pdf' but say A12 contains '4370301000' - probably just a typo on here, but worth checking.

If you use commas as your decimal separator (1,23 instead of 1.23) then please replace commas with semi-colons in your formulae.
