Extract minimum time for a specified text string

I maintain a spreadsheet for our running club which stores runner names, race names, times. A sample table looks like this
    Database Example.jpg

I can extract best times for each runner for a specified race name using this formula =MINIFS(Times,Names,I7,Events,"="&$K$2) where Times are the values in column D, Names are the runners in column B and Events are the race names in column C. Cell I7 holds the specified runner's name e.g. Amy and cell K2 holds the race name e.g. Tender 10k

What I want to do is extract the minimum time for each runner for the type of event based on text contained in the race name e,g. 10k, Half, Marathon. How do I modify my existing formula to do that please?

It can probably be accomplished using Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.
One spreadsheet to rule them all. One spreadsheet to find them. One spreadsheet to bring them all and at corporate, bind them.

A picture is worth a thousand words, but a sample spreadsheet is more likely to be worked on.
