    Conditional Formatting Question.

So i have been racking my brain all day. I am trying to conditionally format the cells so that the team in overall first place is filled with gold, the team in second place is filled with silver and the team with third place is filled with bronze.

I have attached a sample of what I'm looking for.

    Gold rows (1st place)
    Team Evans
    Team Pascuzzo

    Silver rows (2nd place)
    Team Bellmore
    Team Mullins

    Bronze rows (3rd place)
    Team Gallagher
    Team Rondinone

I want to use conditional formatting as the team in each place will change as more events are added.

    Thanks in advance

    Los

    Re: Conditional Formatting Question.

If you want the whole row to be highlighted, select the whole range for each table (A4:I11 and A17:I22) then use this as the Conditional Formatting rule (Conditional Formatting > New Rule > Use a formula to determine which cells to format):
    Formula: copy to clipboard

    Attachment has this working.
    Hope that helps.

I recently started a new job so am a bit busy and may not reply quickly. Sorry - it's not personal - I will reply eventually.
If your problem is solved, please go to 'Thread Tools' above your first post and 'Mark this Thread as Solved'.
If you use commas as your decimal separator (1,23 instead of 1.23) then please replace commas with semi-colons in your formulae.
You don't need to give me rep if I helped, but a thank-you is nice.
