I have an excel database that I enter commodity bids into daily and it is sizeable. I have created a report tab that is formulated to pull data from the archive worksheets. This report is exported to a prn text file. On this report it populates a price range and a change from the previous day. I have combined multiple IF AND statements in the "Change From MMDDYY" column to present the change according to managements desire. Currently these changes are being manually typed in and it is very time consuming. Hence the IF AND formula.
In the attached document you will see a very simplified version of the report. Column B and D is what is presented on the report. Column G-T are used for calculation purposes and will be hidden once formulations are functioning properly. I have broke down each of the IF AND statements in D8-D17. IE: D8 represents the first IF statement, D9 is the second IF statement so on and so forth. In D18 I have the entire formula that I want. You just need to insert equal to activate the formula.
The problem I am having is when I add the last IF statement "D21" excel tells me I have too many arguments. I can have either IF statement in "D20" or "D21" in the main formula without any issues, but I can't have both of them together without the error. I need help with making the last two IF statements in D20 and D21 to work together in the main formula.
Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
