Hi All.
I have a data sheet which I refresh on a daily basis from a MySQL database using the Datasources in Excel.
I then have what you can refer to as "Reporting" sheets where all the data is summarised into a report format.
On the reporting sheet I have a block where I would manual in put a value (i.e usercode) which will then populate the report for that user.
What my report is lacking though is I am not able to individually return data for users who report to this user.
What I would like to have happen is the following:
In Cell B6 I enter the "Manager" user code and all his / her data gets summarised on row 6 (Currently this is working as expected)
From B7 down, I need the worksheet to see who the entered manager is and to then populate B7 through to all the users who reports to him / her and populate each users info on their row.
Please could someone assist with a suggestion of how I can achieve this?
In the attached sample I have entered a value from Column L in the data1 sheet. I will need the rows below B6 to be populated with the various values from column M in data1 as I have pre-populated.
