formula help to workout if value is less than or greater than a given value.

    Column D Column E

    1 $113.98 $235.38
    2 $39.00 $152.90
    3 $178.40 $306.24
    4 $114.61 $236.07
    5 $109.04 $229.94
    6 $183.86 $312.25
    7 $118.39 $240.23

Column D is a cost price of a product & I wish for cell E1 to check cell D1 to see if value is less than 50, greater than 51 & less than 100, so on in multiples of 50 then if less than 50 add 100 & multiply by 1.1. 51-100 add 110& multiply by 1.1. Keeping increasing the add by 10 as multiples goes up.

    Hope this makes sense.

    Welcome to the forum!

I understand the first part of your request - the checking stage - but thereafter there seems to be only one consequence - adding 100 and multiplying by 1.1. If that happens every time, why do you need to check the number in D? Please give your expected outcomes for the sample data, explaining how you arrived at them.

Based on your sample, this part seems redundant...
check cell D1 to see if value is less than 50, greater than 51 & less than 100
This formula gives you all the answers you provided
    =(D1+100)*1.1
