Copy the data from the relevant column if criteria met

    Hi.

Hopefully there is an example attached.

I am after the data from Sheet1 under the relevant date which is selected on Sheet2 C1

Sheet2 C1 - has a validation list so date is changeable.

Example: Sheet2 C1 07/07/07 date is selected - in Sheet1 under the selected date the names Bob and Barry are what I would like to be shown in Sheet2 B5 (downwards)

Is this possilble? and if so how?

    Many thanks.

Try this array formula in B5:

...confirmed by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER to activate the array, not just ENTER. You will know the array is active when you see curly braces { } appear around your formula. If you do not CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER you will get an error or a clearly incorrect answer.

    Hi There,

Is there a way to do that with the results in the same cell?

    Thank you!
