    Formula to auto populate Calendar

    Good Morning,

I recently stumbled accross this website while trying too look for a formula to auto populate daily events on a spreadsheet. I must say that this forum is amazing. Well done everyone.

    I used - ef89_scheduler.xls found on http://www.excelforum.com/excel-prog...html?p=2768117

This formula works great for some months but when i view a few months the formula result is not displayed unless i click and highlight the cells.

Any idea why the info would be 'invisible'??

Attach the file as you have amended it, and I'll take a look.

    Hi All
How do you change the years the sheet covers?

    Thanks

Click on AF5 then "Data Validation": you will see years listed.

(but this thread is nearly 4 years old!!)

Click on AF5 then "Data"==>"Data Validation" where you will see the years listed in "Source": change entries in "Source:".

If you are using either of the files from Post #3 or Post #6 then it is cell AF5 that contains the drop-downs for the years. If, however, you are using the file from the thread pointed to in Post #1 (i.e. ef89_scheduler), then the years drop-down is in cell Z5. I've posted several of these calendar files over the years, with slight variations depending on how much data the OPs want to display, so the drop-downs may appear in different columns.

    Hope this helps.

    Pete
