    How to calculate weighted average

    Hi everyone,

Can someone please help me understanding how the weighted average and industry split were calculated in the attached? I have been trying Sumproduct formula but maybe I am not doing it right.

    Thanks,
    Rae

Re: How to calculate weighted average

Hi Kaper, thank you for looking into this. The 25% of weighted average works out well based on your formula but not 76% and industry split is also not working. When you say E1/E5, you mean 25%/76%? Sorry I have attached the Excel file this time.

Sorry to say so, but I see no point why E5 shall be 76% not 67%

Re: How to calculate weighted average

    That would be non-weighted average.
