    Add a number to date

    Hi,
I have the following problem. I need to add a number to a date. Follow this basic example:
    Cell A1 - I have a credit (say 80 000 pounds)
Cell A2 - I have rent (say 800 pounds), this is per month
Cell A3 - I divide one by the other, so I get the months it will take to return the credit

How can I get the answer in cell A3 in the form of a date, eg. 05/2027? Counting that the return starts from today, so somewhere I need to have =today().

Thanks! That solved half of the problem. How do you format only month and year. The way i did it is I multiplied the months by 30.5 to get it in days, but in the formating section I dont think I found a mm/yyyy.

Select custom format and enter "mm/yyyy"

    Hi,

OK I misread that as 100 days. For 100 months use this formula

    Formula: copy to clipboard
