Need Help Producing Report Formula

I need any solution for this piece of data, I need a formula so that If an employee has been at the company, every 8 months a "report' will come up in the cell, if not the cell needs to be left blank.

Eg.

Hypothetically, Caren has been at the company since 1/6/12, todays date is 1/12/12 = "Report"
Hypothetically, Jim has been at the company since 2/6/12, todays date is 1/12/12 = (Blank)

Pete is from Australia, where dates are written Day/Month/Year. So the above dates: 1/6/12 = 1 June 2012 , NOT January 6, 2012
