    Look for date> today for maintenance.

    Good evening I would need a formula that looks for the next maintenance date in sheet1 for today
    Relating to the vehicle with the same license plate.
    In the example attached to sheet1 I have just put two vehicles but there are actually many lines
    Therefore, I should return column T to the sheet2, the date in Sheet1 above the "maintenance" note in the 1 case in the example 3 week of June 17.
    Thank you in advance

    This has the potential to get very messy very quickly. You have split the year up into months and each month into 4 weeks. The problem is that months are mostly LONGER than 4 weeks. It would be MUCH easier if instead of month/week you used WEEK NUMBER instead. Is this possible for you?

    OK. So see how this looks for you. the formula used:

    =INDEX(Foglio1!$D$7:$BC$7,MATCH(1,(Foglio1!$D8:$BC8="Man")*(Foglio1!$D$7:$BC$7>TODAY()),0))

    is an array formula.

    Array Formulae are a little different from ordinary formulae in that they MUST be confirmed in the FIRST CELL ONLY by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER to activate the array, not just ENTER. After that, the array can be dragged down as normal, to cover the desired range.

    You will know the array is active when you see curly brackets { } - or "curly braces" for those of you in the USA, or "flower brackets" for those of you in India - appear around the outside of your formula. If you do not use CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER you will (almost always) get an error message or an incorrect answer. Press F2 on that cell and try again.

    Don't type the curly brackets yourself - it won't work...
