    condit. format: If date in cell = today, display "Today"

    What I want is simple, but I don't seem to be able to produce it, so I'm wondering if it's possible.

    In a given cell, I have a date. I want to use conditional formatting so that if the date in the cell is today's date, the cell displays "Today" instead of the date.

    So, for example, I have "2/14/2013" in Cell A1. When I open the sheet on 2/13/13 or 2/15/13, the cell reads "2/14/2013"; if I open it on 2/14/13, it says "Today"

    Is this possible?

    Thanks.

    Use this rule

    =A1=TODAY()

    custom format -- "Today"

    I don't think I was clear. I want the word "Today" to appear in the cell, not a value.
