Referring to the formula in cell AA:545 of the attached workbook, that is =INDEX(AA$181:AA$539,MATCH(AA$544&$W545,$B$181:$B$539&$A$181:$A$539,0))
I would like Excel to look at the value in cell V:541 (currently 1._1), find this value in row 2, and then use the column ID of this found value to determine the column in the index reference, (currently coded as column AA in =INDEX(AA$181:AA$539
try this formula in cell AA545
the following formula has absolute reference ranges. It will copy down without problem.
