    Formula help - Banded table

    Hi,

My colleague is trying to create a 3 tiered table of energy usage, it has the following columns: 1st column has Green, Amber and Red. The 2nd has Usage and the 3rd is %. He wants it so that when the usage is changed in the red or the amber row, the difference it is changed by will affect the row above by the difference. The formulas that are already in use in the rest of the columns will change too. I have attached a basic display of what i mean.

    Thanks in advance.
    Dan.

You've posted this in the formulas section of the forum.
A cell can have either a value or a formula, not both.
If the usage values have been manually entered then you won't be able to do this with formulas, you'd need VBA to do this.

Ensure you describe your problem clearly, I have little time available to solve these problems and do not appreciate numerous changes to them.

I can't see a way of doing this without VBA. Still thinking...
