Ask your boss to define exactly what is required:
I think contents will include:
Product (Name and/or product number ID)
Prices (Quantity dependent maybe)
Effective dates of prices (for price changes)
Hi mate
It is as follows:
Company: It is the companies that provide us a service.
Service: Type of service they do for us.
Date: Service Date
References
Price: Price of the Services.
Below is the example:

Obviously there are lots of other services but above are the examples of each of the services provided by the companies listed. Please help me mate. Would really appreciate it. Thanks

The word "Matrix" is too general for us to know exactly what your boss is thinking. I once had a boss that I showed our support call volume over time chart. He looked at my graph and his eyes went glassy. I realized he didn't know how to read a graph. He must have missed that part of his education. My chart went into the trash and I realized he was a "Motto" kind of guy. Charts made no sense to him at all.
If I was asked to do a pricing matrix, I'd assume it was an Excel Table that showed (in rows and columns - Matrix?) all the options we had at pricing our product. Something like: If we price it at $100/part we only sell 10 but if we price it at $20/part we sell 1000. We simply don't know what your boss is thinking when he says Matrix.
One test is worth a thousand opinions.
Maybe something like this one? But no information = no ideas
@MarvinP Hi Mate I did show him the Excel Table which I had made but he didn't think that's what he was after. I think what he wants is that he wants a Matrix which has all the names of the company, the types of services they provide, price, date, references etc.
But you got table. You need change false data to real data . that's all
@sandy666 that looks like a pretty good example however I have just been working for 6 months in the company so I don't think I have enough information's to do yearly ones.
This is example. You can use real dates, real companies, real services , real qty and prices
First you need create table then make Pivot Table from source table.
OK then,
Time to dig into each company and start making rows and columns with company names and services and prices etc. My concern is it is more than a two dimensional matrix. I think you need some examples and quiz the boss a bit more...

@MarvinP @Sandy999 Guys this is what I had done and showed him previously which he didn't think that was what he was looking for.
So click on your table, from the ribbon select INSERT - Recommended Pivot Tables and it will show ca. 8 views of your data.
You can choose one or all . It depends on what you want to get / show

Company Report Average by Date.xlsx
But it isn't a matrix.
@sandy666 Oh god. I think he meant he wanted all the prices and services that the companies charges us into matrix because I have got a tariffs from different companies and I think he wants me to put that in the matrix. hmm
