Fiscal Year Week Numbers displaying a negative number...

I'm a self-taught user, mostly learning from Professor Google. I used =WEEKNUM(P246)-WEEKNUM(DATE(2016,6,30),15) to show 7/1/2016 as week 1 of my fiscal year starting on Friday. When I copied the formula across the entire fiscal year, the week numbers went to a - negative number after week 27. Would you have a fix for that? Thanks

Hi hzleyes62, welcom to the forum. Try this in P1:
    =1+MOD(WEEKNUM(P1,15)-WEEKNUM(DATE(2016,7,1),15),52)

So when something fabulous happens like this, it makes me want to do more. I've attached a snapshot of what I have now, and it's great. Is there a way show the dates the week number represents? Week 1 is July 1 - July 2? Capture.PNG But if the fiscal year started on a Friday, and our weeks are Sunday through Saturday, does that mean week one consisted of two days? I think I need to better understand fiscal years

A year consists of 52 weeks + 1 or 2 days. Not being an accountant, I don't know how companies that track weekly finances rectify their end-of-year fiscal periods. Many companies track on a monthly basis, thereby avoiding the issue. I'm sure there are some financial pros floating around these forums, perhaps one could clarify this for you.
