Prevent blanks from showing in list drop down

Hi,

I have a column A on sheet1 with a list of Names that I'd like to show in a drop down on Column B on sheet2.

Column A has some blanks, and these blanks are showing in column B.

E.g.
Column A
A1=Joe
A2=Sam
A3=""
A4="Peter"
A5=""

Is there a formula I can use in the dropdown that will only show the names in the drop down and remove the blank values?

and FYI "" is not blank, this is empty string
