    Conditional format help

    Hi all,

    I need some help for a conditional format. I have 2 sheets in the same rows/columns. However, In the 2nd sheet, I need to have a flag if the total sum of the exact cells are greater than 100%. For example if A1 on sheet 1 and A1 on sheet > 100% I need the cell A1 on sheet 2 to be flagged red. If the sum is < 100 it will remain soon.

    Please see attached for example

    Re: Conditional format help

    not sure if the notes are correct
    <--- Cell should turn red if Sheet1 A1 + Sheet 2 A2 >100%
    in bolh cells

    did you mean
    <--- Cell should turn red if Sheet1 A1 + Sheet 2 A1 >100%
    <--> Cell should not turn since Sheet1 A2 + Sheet 2 A2 <100%

    and then out to G10
    <--> Cell should not turn since Sheet1 G10 + Sheet 2 G10 <100%
    <--> Cell should turn since Sheet1 G10 + Sheet 2 G10 >100%

    if so then

    select A1:G10

    for 2007, 2010 , 2013 or 2016 excel version
    Conditional Formatting

    Highlight applicable range >>

    A1:G10

    Home Tab >> Styles >> Conditional Formatting
    New Rule >> Use a formula to determine which cells to format
    Edit the Rule Description: Format values where this formula is true:

    =A1+Sheet2!A1 > 1

    Format… [Number, Font, Border, Fill] - fill red
    choose the format you would like to apply when the condition is true
    OK >> OK
