Searching next data from a column

Hi and thanks in advance for your time!

my problem is simplified in the attached file. In this system after a certain time the system reaches equilibrium and I calculate the average values before equilibrium is found. I know the amount of time it takes to reach the next equilibrium but as in the example, time doesn't follow any pattern (first 8 units of time, then 12 and lastly 5 units). Now I want to pick these calculated average values to another sheet as in the example. So far I have done this by hand but it gets extremely boring. I simply need a search function that finds the next value from the column, whatever the value is. I thought this would be simple, but after lots of googling I haven't found anything usefull.

Hi mijoalka and welcome to the forum,

I don't see how you pick out the time values in your problem. But see the attached that makes you pick the times between and it might do what you want.

The times are someting I get to set in a quite complicated experiment. I played around with index-function and got it to do the trick I wanted, thanks for pointing me to the right direction!
