Searching data in 1 row, giving back data from column thats left to searched data

Hello,

I have a Problem in Excel.
I have a row with Words and Numbers. Now i want to search a number and than excel should return the cell, left to the found number.

assuming the value to be searched for is entered in C6: as 2
type in C7: =INDEX(A:A,MATCH(C6,B:B,0))
