If i click on a link to a formula it would take me to the answer.

jacob has 10 chairs in cell B1
penny has 20 chairs in cell B2
dolly has 20 chairs in cell B3

My formula is this and is in cell D1: =SUMIF(A1:B4,A1,B1:B4) and my results give me 10.

Problem: I would like to click a hyper link on cell d1 to take me to my results is this possible?

    1. A hyperlink will not work

The cell either contains a formula or a hyperlink not both.

    2. A simple macro will however do what you ask.

Right Click on the sheet name at the bottom of excel and select view code

Paste this into the module that opens and close it.

If you are interested in the related name you can use this one in

e1 =INDEX($A$1:$B$3,MATCH(D1,$B$1:$B$3,0),1) => the result of this formula is Jacob
Notice my main language is not English.

This took me to an answer but did not take me to b1 and then b4. d1 is the result if i add jacobs together. Is there a way to see both values?
