Reference data in successive rows in each new sheet?

Can anybody suggest a formula/solution which would allow me to reference the data in each row individually as I progressively create a new sheet?

I.e If the master sheet containing the rows of data are on Sheet1. I would like Cell A1 in Sheet2 to reference the information in 'Sheet1!A1'.

But then when I create Sheet2, I would like cell A1 to reference the data in 'Sheet1!A2'.

A1 on Sheet3 = 'Sheet1!A3'
A1 on Sheet4 = 'Sheet1!A4'

And so on...

is there a formula that can be inserted into cell A1 so that when I copy the previous sheet it will reference the next row of data on the master sheet Sheet1?
