Issue with an & formula and data formatting

    Hi Guys,

I have had this issue in the past, but I am not sure how to get around it.

    This is my current formula:

    =A62&A65&A1&A64&A66&" since "&TEXT(A67,"dd/mm/yyyy")&A69&TEXT(A68,"dd/mm/yyyy")

This works fine, apart from the last cell and date formatting. The cell in A68 is for a date, but this date is optional so it will not always be present. My issue is that when there is no data there I get the "00/00/1900" at the end.

Is the a way I can amend my formula to make this piece blank?

    Many thanks,

    Chris

    Maybe this?

    =SUBSTITUTE(your_formula,"00/00/1900","")

    =if(A68"<>""",A62&A65&A1&A64&A66&" since "&TEXT(A67,"dd/mm/yyyy")&A69&TEXT(A68,"dd/mm/yyyy",A62&A65&A1&A64&A66&" since "&TEXT(A67,"dd/mm/yyyy")&A69)

    Hi,

    Perhaps this
    =A62&A65&A1&A64&A66&" since "&TEXT(A67,"dd/mm/yyyy")&A69&TEXT(A68,"dd/mm/yyyy;;")
