Having average (%), define values with exponential trendline

    Hello.
    I have attributes (1,2,3....8).
Each attribute has ist value in percentages, like 1=0,03%; 2=0,07%; 3=0,26%; 4=1,05%; 5=7,49% and 8=100%.

For 6 and 7 I do not have percentages, but the average of both should be 26,78%.
Can I calculate average of 6 and 7 in order the trendline will be exponential like

    Thanks in advance.

Your question is not clear. You can have an exponential trendline regardless of what your data is. The question is what is the R2 value. Are you saying that you want to interpolate values for points 6 and 7? If so, what R2 value do you want for the curve fitting?

Select A10:B10, paste =LOGEST(B2:B7, A2:A7) in the formula bar, press and hold the Ctrl and Shift keys, then press Enter.

    And one more question.

I am not familiar with function LOGEST. What does it calculate, and generally A10:B10 - what are actually calculating in this example?

Do you have a particular question about an aspect that's not explained in Help?
