IF Function to determine a number based off a different number

    Hi,

Let's say I have a number in my cell, for this example the number is 47. And with that number I want to give it a grade score of a 15. How would I do that? Like if a certain range is from 0-10 the result will be 5. If the result is 30-35 the result is 11 etc.

    ex:

    Column A . Column B
    47 15
    32 11
    10 5
    50 20

Hmm somewhat but not sure how you made that function.

But yeah basically I want to give a grading scale of 1-10 based on a score from 1-100. However, each column may be different as well...

like column A may have a score of 1-10 so the grading scale is weighted differently vs column B where a score can be 1-100 where the grading scale will be weighted differently as well.

You get better help on your question if you add a small excel file, without confidential information.

Please also add manualy the expected result in your file.

    To Attach a File:

    1. Scroll down to the window below your post Additional Options
    2. In the frame Attach Files you will see the button Manage Attachments
    3. Click the button.
    4. A new window will open titled Manage Attachments - Excel Forum.
    5. Click the Browse... button to locate your file for uploading.
    6. This will open a new window File Upload.
    7. Once you have located the file to upload click the Open button. This window will close.
    8. You are now back in the Manage Attachments - Excel Forum window.
    9. Click the Upload button and wait until the file has uploaded.
    10. Close the window and then click Submit.
Notice my main language is not English.

I appreciate it, if you reply on my solution.
