formula for Assigning pts based on scores

I am looking for a formula that I can use to assign points based on scores. I need to keep this to be flexible so that I can begin to assign points with a predetermined number. This is for a golf score sheet. So there might be times I need to work from 12 points down or 50 points down depending on how many people and what point system I am ranking.

I have attached the spreadsheet with scores for 12 golfers. In column AE I would want to assign them points (in this case 12 for the lowest score to 1 for the highest. I purposefully kept some golfers with the same score as they would have to average pts available for that range of ranking. I hope this helps.
