I am using the Excel data mining add in (on Excel 2013).
I have run a key influences report and it has produced some useful output.
However, I would really like to see a count of how many observations there are for a particular influencer.
For example:
The output is a table with a set of four columns: "Column, Value, Favors, Relative Impact"
The Column column references the column in my source table, and the Value column references a value from within the referenced column. For example:
Column = address_qualifier, Value = "In street outside gazetteer location".
address_qualifier is the column heading in my original data table, whilst "In street outside gazetteer location" is one of many possible values within the address_qualifier column.
The column "Favors" indicators what this is influencing. In this example it is a response time of under 1 minute.
I want to be able to return a count of all observations in my original Table which fulfills the criteria of under 1 minute, which also has an address qualifier of "In street outside gazetteer location". This is so I can see for each influence, how many observations it accounts for.
I'm finding this difficult to do, because there are 17 different columns which are influencing different response times, so I need a COUNTIFS style formula which finds the response time (easy enough) and also the specific column and value (need help with), hopefully without writing 17 different countif expressions.
Any suggestions?
(I wanted to attach a screenshot but the option is disabled).
