Need formula to put 3 different results in one cell separated by a dash

    Hi All,

Im back trying to figure out how to keep from putting this info in myself manually.

Thanks to several different individuals in this "Excel Forum" website I have eliminated many hours because now I have a formula to do it for me.

My next step is Needing a formula to put 3 different results in one cell separated by a dash. I have tried several different formulas trying to get this result with no luck.

I was hoping I could get it from what I have learned on this website, but Im just not there yet.

Also, I would like to not use VBA, I have kept my workbook without using VBA.

I would like to learn VBA later, but not with this certain workbook.

I will not go in to much detail here, the attachment will explain what I'm trying to do.

Here is a simple answer for my result I'm trying to get.

I have one column "D" which has a 3 digit number in it.

Each digit of the 3 digit number will need to be looked at by the formula

    Next I have a Columns E through N (E1 through N1 is a simple number chart with numbers 0-9)

Below that number chart 0-9 starting with E8 are numbers also, these numbers are already in a formula from help i was given before

I will start with column D9 which is 355, then the result formula will look at the row up from D9 in columns E through N which is E8:N8 for the result.

I hope I have explained this OK, I know its confusing, but I have faith in the EXCEL FORUM website for my answer.

    Thanks in advance,
    Brian

Thanks AIKEY, I will always welcome different ways of doing formulas.

It helps me to learn all the different things i can do with excel.

Plus I have found before i can take part of one formula someone gives me, and then part of another formula someone gives me to make the formula work for me.

I love to try and figure it out before posting my question, this way I learn a little before learning a lot

    Thanks again,
    Brian
