    Compound growth rate (Getting monthly rate from annual growth rate)

    Hi,

    I'm wondering if anyone knows a way to get a monthly rate of growth from the following information? (In attachment)

    Essentially:-
    2017 value is 71178.99
    Want annual growth rate of 7.99% so 2018 value is 76868.49

    Know Dec 17 value is 6100.

    Given the annual growth rate is known, how can I use excel to automatically work out monthly rate given the monthly rate will compound?
