    Locking cells with working hyperlinks

In Excel 2016, I want to protect sheet (prevent user from selecting editing cells) while containing the hyperlink functionality.

    If I allow:
    - select unlocked cells
User cannot click on the hyperlink (it doesn't link anywhere).

    - select locked cells AND select unlocked cells
User can't edit any cells, hyperlink is working, but he can click around.

I would like for a user to only click on the hyper but isn't able to edit it. Can it be done? No VBA.

p.s. Does anyknow know why, when locking a sheet, Cells from M5 to R23 are still available? Can't seem get rid of that.

tim, can you explain what did you change?

Because I can still delete hyperlinks and M5-R23 range is still selected by default.

If I open your worksheet and move to Sheet 1 (or 2 or 3) and press Backspace, the content of the cell is deleted. So that's not working.

I want to protect the cells so a user can't delete them.
