    Re: Circular reference issue

Well. It's one continuous cycle from Jan to Dec, when you check for previous month.

I.E. Jan refers to Dec, Feb to Jan .... Dec to Nov

So it loops back after 12 month. Does it not make sense to have another check (I.E. Year) or something that would stop 12 month cycle looping on itself?
?Progress isn't made by early risers. It's made by lazy men trying to find easier ways to do something.?

    Re: Circular reference issue

Did you just add/update Nov/Dec sheet? That likely completed the cycle and made circular reference.

Jan, shouldn't really reference back to Dec sheet, unless it's same year. If 2016 Dec data resides in another workbook, then it should refer to that, not current year's Dec (though you won't be able to use Indirect function on closed workbook).
