count the days worked with letters and or numbers in the cells

    Hi Folks
My dilemma ... I work for an intercity Bus company that schedules 5 drivers over 30 or 31 days of the month(s).

Cells C10 throught to AG10 may contains both letters (ie: D10 has NT which tells the driver he is working a Night Tour) and or Bus Numbers (ie: S10 has 101 in the cell to show the driver he is to drive bus 101 that day) or a "0" in any of the above cells from C10 the AG10 to indicate the driver is Off that day.
Is there a formula that will count the cells with letters (NT) and the numbers (101) but not the days with a "0" and return to cell AH10 the number of days he has worked?
I have attached the beginning of my worksheet and hope this helps. At least I think I have

hi derwyn. i don't see any cells with NT, but it seems like my formula would tie with your numbers. in cell AH10:
    =COUNTIF(C10:AG10,"<>0")
    copy down

i'm just counting those that is NOT 0. do mark thread as Solved if that answers your problem.
