Transform a single date / a few single dates / range of dates into number of days
Within one single cell, content could be a combination as follows:
Single cell ----------------------- Result (Days)
01-09 ----------------------- 9
01,03,04 ----------------------- 3
1,3,4 ----------------------- 3
01-09,15,18 ----------------------- 11
1-9 ----------------------- 9
1-9,15,18 ----------------------- 11
Wonder if there are any single formula to obtain the result from one single cell.

Hi, welcome to the forum
entries like 01-09 in a single cell are text, not numbers. Excel works best with numbers if the data in a cell is a single number, not a range.
