Leaving sum cell blank until all data cells are filled

I'm trying to add four non consecutive cells A2, A4, A6, A8 and A11 in cell A12. I want A12 to remain blank until the data in
    A2,A4,A6,A8 is inputted. Currently I'm getting either a $0.00 or =Value in cell A12.

    Current formula is =IF(ISBLANK(A2,A4,A6,A8),"",A11+(A2+A4+A6+A8))

In a nutshell I need a formula to to leave the sum cell blank until there is data in all the cells that it is adding up.

    Thanks in advance,

    Try

    =IF(COUNT(A2,A4,A6,A8)=4,SUM(A2,A4,A6,A8)+A11,"")

Re: Leaving sum cell blank until all data cells are filled

    Your formula suggestion

    =IF(COUNT(A2,A4,A6,A8)=4,SUM(A2,A4,A6,A8)+A11,"") worked well.
Unfortunately the =value message showed up in the next cell A12.
The formula in A12 takes the completed data from A11 and subtracts A10 from A11.
The formula in A12 that is now giving me a =value message
    is =IF(ISBLANK(A11),"",(A11-A10))

    Only one cell to go.

    Thanks in advance,

Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

Re: Leaving sum cell blank until all data cells are filled

Thanks a million ....Almost and so close.

A12 is now showing the total of A11. All the cells waiting on data are black like I want. The problem is that A12 now shows the sum of A11 instead of the sum of
    A11-A10. Any ideas?

Re: Leaving sum cell blank until all data cells are filled

I am confused. Post #1 states that cell A12 will populate with the sum of A2, A4, A6, A8 and A11. Post #4 and #7 state that A12 should populate with the difference in A11 and A10. I feel that it would be best to follow Siva's directions in post #5 and upload a sample so that we can see what is actually needed.
