Highlight cell whenever text or number is entered-

Good morning!

I was wondering if there's a way to high light a cell in a column whenever a text is entered.

For example A2 is not highlighted, but when I enter a text or a number in B2, and press enter it will highlight A2. Sorry for the noob question.

This might be what you want.

However, what happens to the highlighting in A2 and in (for example) A6 when you later add text/number to B6?
