I'm stuck with ranking data across multiple sheets + subranking.
Attached is a simplified example whereby data is on 2 sheets and the data column is different. What I intend to do is rank based on the amount, but only within a business. E.g. Business A 1-10, business B 1-10 so not total ranking.

The file that you attached is in .xlsx format which only goes as far back as the 2007 version, however your profile states that you are using the 2003 version. Update your profile, as that may make a difference in how we attempt to solve the issue of ranking lists on multiple sheets.
