Make two cells balance each other to always add up to the same value

I have a cell on a tab (Tab 1 Cell A 1) with the value 10
And another cell (Tab 2 Cell A1) also with the value 10

I need that no matter which two of these values you modified, they should always add up to 20. So Tab1A1 + Tab2A2 should always be 20.

Just thought someone should point out that you can't do that with formulas because you would be typing over the formula when you manually modify the value of the cell, they are referring to each other right.... and both will also have values entered manually?

You could do that with VBA, with a Worksheet_Change Sub...

That's the only way I am aware of.

No problem, you'd have to do a Worksheet_Change sub under both sheets but would be really simple, you should ask in the VBA section instead and someone might help you out.
